Mission Statement

Purpose of the EBMA

The EBMA exists for the benefit of Bluegrass artists, organisers, industry professionals and enthusiasts in Europe, to help them connect, grow and achieve fulfilment through community.

Mission of the EBMA

Build and maintain a strong community that connects members and inspires them to work together for collective and individual enjoyment.

Provide opportunities and resources that support members in their pursuit of Bluegrass.

Forge partnerships with national and international organisations to expand the horizons of Bluegrass within Europe.

Structure of the EBMA

EBMA is a not-for-profit organisation structured around constituencies, each with board representation.

The EBMA membership includes artists, organisers and fans from the full spectrum of Bluegrass and adjacent musical genres from around the world.

The Board coordinates activities in the constituencies, manages shared services for members, and oversees all tasks relative to the legal and financial administration of the association.

Operating Principles of EBMA

The constituencies represent the Bluegrass community and are the focus of activities carried out in the name of EBMA.

Active participation from members is encouraged to promote, develop and implement initiatives aligned with the organisation’s goals.

Drawing from the many roots of Bluegrass music, the EBMA encourages innovation in all aspects of Bluegrass performance and enjoyment.
